Travel Texas – Alvin – Rotary Club’s Annual Frontier Day Festival

As you can tell, I really love attending re-enactments and historical events. The Annual Frontier Day Festival in Alvin, Texas April 26th is a treat. This year they will celebrate their 40th anniversary!


Saturday, April 26th – Parade, Gun Fight re-enactments, carnival and midway, rodeo. There’s also an Antique and Collectible Car and Bike Show. Don’t miss the drawing by the Rotary Club to win a brand new truck!

The city of Alvin has a lot to offer if you have time to visit – the Alvin Antique Center, The Great Texas Coastal Birding Trail, several parks and playgrounds, the National Oak Park, several historic homes and buildings as well as the Alvin Historic Depot Centre.
