Gonzales Chamber of Commerce at 414 St. Lawrence, Gonzales, TX


Per the website, “Enjoy a delicious Breakfast with Santa sponsored by the Rotary Club starting at 9 am. Shop for jewelry, yard art, Christmas decorations, or that special gift at Santa’s Market on Confederate square starting at 10:00 a.m. Main Street will host the first annual Chili and Bean Cook-off on the square. There will be games for the Children, carolers and many other activities.”


Lighted Christmas Parade (December 2nd @ 7 pm) features lighted floats, cars, bicycles, walking groups, and of course Santa will make his arrival. After the parade, the Christmas tree will be lit and downtown will come alive with vendors, music/carolers, and Santa.


Other attractions to visit – Gonzales County Jail Museum, Gonzales Memorial Museum, Gonzales County Courthouse, State Association of Texas Pioneers Museum, and Pioneer Village Living History Center.


“Stars in the Village” hosted by Pioneer Village, December 2nd, 8th & 9th features live music, free cookies, wassail and campfire popcorn! Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for children ages 6-12.


Historic Homes Tour: Tickets are $20.00 for all five homes and will be available at the Gonzales Chamber of Commerce at 414 St. Lawrence.
